Questions People Ask

Why do I seem to sweat more than other people?

Sweating is the body’s natural way to cool itself when it gets overheated. However, some of us have sweat glands that overproduce, meaning the glands work overtime when they should be resting. This results in the glands producing more sweat than is necessary for cooling the body. In some of us, 4-5 times the sweat than normal is produced.

Is it unusual that I sweat a lot?

You are in good company. Many of us have this problem. Overactive sweat glands are present in millions of us — 1 in 5 Americans are affected.

How long does the procedure take?

We perform the treatment in our office, and it lasts about 1 hour. Two treatments (3 months apart) are recommended, to maximize the duration of your results.
